Two of the 10 men who escaped from a New Orleans jail earlier this month were apprehended in Huntsville on Monday, police said.
Officers with the Huntsville Police Department arrested Leo Tate and Jermaine Donald after the men allegedly led police officers from several agencies on a high-speed chase through the city, which is about 70 miles north of Houston. The chase ended at US 190 and Geneva Road in east Huntsville.
Another man who escaped during the May 16 jailbreak was arrested in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Monday. Two of the 10 men who escaped remained at large as of Tuesday morning.
