WACO, Texas — Baylor University redshirt freshman Alex Foster was shot and killed early Wednesday morning.

Foster was found with multiple gunshot wounds in a car in his Mississippi hometown, the Washington County coroner's office, according to the Associated Press.

Foster, a defensive lineman from Greenville, Mississippi, was a four-star prospect by On3, ranked as the No. 152 overall recruit in the nation.
