NEW ORLEANS (TNND) — The reward for the capture of the two remaining escapees in New Orleans has more than doubled and is now up to $50,000 per inmate.
Louisiana State Police Superintendent Col. Robert Hodges said the increase in the reward will help them get more tips, "Which means we're going to close in faster."
"They're tired. They're looking over their shoulder. They're running out of resources," Hodges said.
Officials warned that the escapees are extremely dangerous. Massey is charged with domestic abuse involving strangulation and theft of a motor vehicle, according to records. He also has an arrest warrant in St. Tammany Parish for second-degree rape, second-degree kidnapping, domestic abuse involving strangulation and violation of a protective order involving battery, USA T
