Clemson baseball opens play in the NCAA Baseball Tournament Clemson Regional with a game against USC Upstate on May 30 in Doug Kingsmore Stadium.

The Tigers (44-16) reached the ACC Tournament final last weekend and now focuses on regional play after winning one last season for the first time since 2010.

USC Upstate (36-23) is making the short trip from Spartanburg after winning the Big South regular season and conference titles.

The winner will face the Kentucky-West Virginia winner on May 31, while the loser faces elimination against the UK-West Virginia loser.

Clemson won the one previous matchup this season, a 7-0 victory on March 4 in Greenville.
