KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A mother-son duo have both now been indicted by public grand juries in each county where they have been accused of illegally towing and stealing motor vehicles.

Jackson County, Missouri, Circuit Court records filed on Thursday, May 29, indicate that a second criminal summons has been issued to Lanette S. Adamson, the mother in a mother-son team accused of illegally towing vehicles in the Kansas City metro.

The move adds to filings made against both Adamsons in Platte County. Court documents noted that a public grand jury indicted Adamson on Thursday. The summons was issued and served to her on Friday for charges of stealing a motor vehicle and forgery.
