ROCK HILL, S.C. — Weather radar data suggests a brief tornado may have happened Friday evening in the Rock Hill area.

WCNC Charlotte Chief Meteorologist Brad Panovich received a video of what appeared to be a tornado from viewer Amber Burns Irvin. Irvin shot the video along Percival Road just north of South Fork Road near Brattonsville and told Panovich her barn, a playset, and a few trees suffered damage.

Tornado warnings were issued for parts of Lancaster and Chesterfield counties in South Carolina around 3:45 p.m., with those warnings expiring about 30 minutes later.
