BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - While Saturday brought a well-deserved day of sunshine and calmer weather, a chance for thunderstorms will be returning to the forecast on Sunday.

SETUP

A disturbance in the mid-levels of our atmosphere will roll over the Lone Star State on Sunday, providing enough power to generate some isolated thunderstorms. If storms do get up and going, then they will have plenty of fuel to tap into, meaning that they may wind up on the stronger side.

TIMING

Isolated thunderstorms may kick off as early as lunchtime, with models pointing to an estimated start time of 12pm. After the initial round of rain and rumbles, lingering pop-up showers and thunderstorms are possible past dinnertime.
