Georgia baseball will need to get its hitting going against left-handed pitching in an elimination game against Oklahoma State.

The No. 7 national seed Bulldogs (43-16) went 9 of 35 (.257) against three Duke lefties in a 6-3 Georgia loss that forced an elimination game on Sunday, June 1, against the Cowboys (29-24).

“We’re going to see them all day,” Georgia coach Wes Johnson said. “If we win the first one, they’re going to throw a lefty the second one.”

The Georgia-Oklahoma State winner will play region No. 2 seed Duke at 6 p.m.

The Cowboys will start lefty Harrison Bodendorf, an All-Big 12 selection who is 10-1 with a 2.77 ERA with 100 strikeouts in 87 2/3 innings.
