BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Born in the Brazos valley in 1922 Pricilla Tasker has witnessed over a century of change and history.

Today she was surrounded by friends and family today celebrating her life.

Her daughter, Lucille Tate told us her mother has always loved the Brazos Valley. “She’s a wonderful person and everyone has always been a friend. People all over town know her and she has always been excited by the Bryan/College Station area.”

Priscillas pastor, George Beckworth Sr., says his congregation is inspired by her. “103 years? That’s a long time. And God is good to her and now she’s able to see all these wonderful people come over to celebrate her life. Man, that’s so wonderful, that’s so great.”
