Friends and family of Jesus Guerrero — the celebrity hairstylist known for his work with Kylie Jenner and Jennifer Lopez — have officially received answers about his sudden death in February.

On June 2, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner publicly confirmed that the 34-year-old's cause of death was pneumocystis jirovecii pneumonia and disseminated cryptococcus neoformans due to acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS).

Pneumocystis jirovecii and cryptococcus neoformans serious fungal infections that typically occur in people with severely compromised immune systems, including those with HIV and AIDS. Guerrero’s manner of death was listed as “natural.”
