RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Richmond water main at 7th and Canal Streets that caused low water pressure in Henrico County has been repaired, according the city's Department of Public Utilities.
According to an announcement by the city on Tuesday, June 3, the water main at 7th and Canal Streets that was discovered to have broken on Thursday, May 29, was fixed.
Water service has been fully restored, a city spokesperson said.
The repair was supposed to be completed early Monday, June 2, but required additional city resources and city engineering support due to the "complexity and connectivity of the region's distribution system."
