RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - The city of Richmond says the water main break at 7th and Canal Streets is finally fixed.

Richmond’s Department of Public Utilities announced that crews finished the repair Tuesday and that water is fully restored.

“I appreciate the coordination with Henrico County and I’m especially thankful for the hard work and long hours my team has put in to complete this challenging repair while ensuring limited impact to customers,” said Director of Department of Public Utilities, Scott Morris.

Leadership from both the city and Henrico County say they worked closely together to handle this repair.
