AKRON, Ohio (WJW) -- It is in a superhero's job description to go over and above to do the right thing.

At Akron Children's Hospital on Tuesday, some familiar characters did just that, making their entrance by rappelling six stories from the roof of the hospital and entertaining kids through the windows on their way down.

American National Skyline Inc., a window washing company, provides the superheroes which for this event are described as "grime-fighters."

The window washers on Tuesday assisted by a drone that actually did the cleaning, as they waved to kids through the windows on their way to a courtyard below where they interacted with kids.
