Jessie J revealed she has been given an early diagnosis of breast cancer in an emotional message to fans.

The singer posted a video talking about her diagnosis on her Instagram page.

"I'm highlighting the world 'early'. Cancer sucks in any form, but I'm holding on to the word early," she said in the video.

"I have been in and out of tests throughout this whole period. I just wanted to be open and share it."

Jessie said she isn't talking about it enough and "not processing it because I'm working so hard," so she wanted to be open and share the news with people to help her deal with the diagnosis.
