CLINTON -- The Clinton Police Department says police tried to stop the motorcycle Wednesday night after hearing it ripping along town roads.

The Clinton Police Department states they were attempting to warn Adam Crawford that the bike wasn't street legal, but they say he took off and led them on a chase.

Police say Crawford turned down some railroad tracks before ditching the bike and running into some woods.

After several hours, Crawford was spotted emerging from the woods and he was arrested.

He is now charged with refusing to submit to arrest, violating conditions of release and he also had a warrant for violating a protection order.
