Friday is National Donut Day, a sacred day for those who practice Homersimpsonism (not an actual religion, more a way of life for us, err, I mean some people).

Fun inside journalism fact: AP style, which most newspapers use as a guideline, spells doughnut with the “ugh,” which is the sound I make when I try to reconcile most major brands and National Donut Day spelling it without. So if you see any inconsistencies, blame the stylebook.
