LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Jewish communities across the nation are weighing in on the antisemitic attack in Boulder, Colorado, on Sunday that left 15 people injured.
Ari Kohen, the director of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Center for Judaic Studies, said he is at a loss for words over the multiple attacks in just weeks on the Jewish community.
Kohen said there has been a shift in how safe America feels for Jews.
“People have suggested that this is one of the best and one of the safest places for Jewish community in its history,” Kohen said. “And of course people feel like we are having that chipped away or taken out from under us.”
