Revenue cycle management company Med-Metrix will lay off 142 employees on June 20, due to the closure of Upland, Pa.-based Crozer Health, Penn Live reported June 5.  Med-Metrix provided RCM services to the health system, whose owner, Prospect Medical Holdings, announced April 21 it would shutter the health system and lay off more than 2,600 employees after efforts to find a buyer for key Crozer facilities failed. 

The RCM company filed a WARN notice with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry in April, according to the report. The final Crozer hospital, Crozer-Chester Medical Center, shuttered May 2.  “The closure announced on April 21, 2025, was an unforeseeable business circumstance outside of Med-Metrix’s control which would have allowed for reduced notice,” the company said i
