A Caldwell County woman was arrested and charged as an accessory in connection to a mass shooting in Catawba County.

Zoe Makenna Braswell, 18, is charged with one count of accessory after the fact to attempted first-degree murder, the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release on Thursday.

One person was killed and 11 others were injured in the shooting at a pool party located at 1125 Walnut Acres Drive on Sunday. There are six people, including Braswell, charged in connection to the case as of 12:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Izaiah (Zae) Mitchell, 18, of Morganton, is also wanted for robbery with a dangerous weapon from a separate case in Burke County, the sheriff's office said. The sheriff's office also is looking for Mitchell in connection to the Walnut Acres shooting. He is not
