PHOENIX — The first day of Lori Vallow Daybell’s second trial in Arizona will be held Thursday with opening statements from the prosecution and the defense followed by the first witnesses.

Daybell is charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree murder of Brandon Boudreaux, her former nephew-in-law, who was shot at while returning to his home on Oct. 2, 2019. Daybell is representing herself in the Maricopa County trial.

Court proceedings begin at 10 a.m. Phoenix time (11 a.m. MDT). Judge Justin Beresky has permitted a video camera in the courtroom but has instituted a 30-minute delay on streaming. You can watch the video in the player above.
