A Murray County deputy and her K-9 are being credited for helping an outside agency with an arrest in a child sex crimes investigation on Tuesday.
A Facebook post by Haralson County Sheriff Stacy Williams was shared by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office after Deputy Melinda Flood and K-9 Maxim helped with the arrest of 63-year-old Bradley Curtis Kingsley.
Kingsley’s arrest comes after an investigation that started in May because the GBI sent the Haralson County Sheriff's Office a tip about child pornography being uploaded to a Verizon account.
Investigators were able to find out that the account belonged to Kingsley and called in the team from Murray County to help sniff out evidence.
Maxim is an electronic storage detection K-9, which means he can smell any electronic device tha
