BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- The Kern County Sheriff's Office is conducting SWAT team training near Lamont Elementary School Thursday.

The training is scheduled until 4 p.m., according to KCSO.

Officials advise there is no threat to residents, students, or surrounding community.

The school is located at 8300 Segrue Road.
