After months of speculation and wondering when the saga will end, it has finally ended.
According to Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and Adam Schefter of ESPN, Aaron Rodgers has informed the Pittsburgh Steelers that he plans to sign with the team and attend mandatory minicamp.
Schefter adds that the Steelers never lost faith that Rodgers would sign with Pittsburgh.
“ [The] Steelers never wavered in their belief that Aaron Rodgers eventually would sign with Pittsburgh,” Schefter said. “Steelers HC Mike Tomlin loomed large in this entire situation. Tomlin was a drawing card for Rodgers, and was happy to work within Rodgers’ timeline. He is a major reason that Rodgers will be a Steeler.”
The four-time MVP will now officially be the Steelers’ quarterback after months of specul
