No one hurt after house fire on Prospect Street in Vernon

VERNON, Conn. (WTNH) — No one was injured after a house fire Wednesday night in Vernon, according to the fire department.

The fire was reported at around 7:30 p.m. on Prospect Street. Fire officials say that the rear of the home was fully engulfed in flames upon arrival. The fire was brought under control in one hour.

Three residents were assisted by the Red Cross.
