AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) - An incident report is shedding possible new light on the death of a 16-month-old earlier this week.

The report, released Thursday afternoon, states that EMS workers told deputies they suspected the child, identified as Trae’son Dunn, ingested methadone and another substance. Methadone is used to treat people who have an opioid addiction.

A second child was taken to the hospital to be evaluated and see whether that child consumed drugs. Investigators have not released any new information about that child's condition.

The investigation is ongoing. While no arrests have been made, this is now the 4th time this year that the Sheriff's Office has responded to the same home.
