MARION — After months of in-store construction, local shoppers, staff and city leaders gathered Thursday morning for a ribbon-cutting and grand reopening ceremony at the Marion Kroger.

It marked the completion of a $2 million renovation aimed at modernizing the space and enhancing the shopping experience, all while the store continued to serve customers.
