We saw a few spot showers and one gnarly storm that worked through Central Vermont this afternoon, with small hail and wind gusts up to 40 mph. That threat for rain comes to an end after sunset, but the same front will bubble up more showers and storms Friday.
With the front lingering just to our south, additional showers and thunderstorms are possible in Southern Zones, especially along the Vermont Massachusetts border and through the Upper Valley. Heavy rain, frequent lightning and strong wind gusts are the biggest threat with these storms.
Northern zones should generally stay far enough away from any storminess, but a few showers are possible for the afternoon, under partly to mostly cloudy skies.
