Flood Watch south of Syracuse

A Flood Watch remains in effect through noon Saturday for Cortland and Chenango counties given the additional rain falling this morning in areas that already had heavy rain over the past couple of days.

If you ever encounter a flooded road, turn around and find an alternate route.

Drying out Saturday

With lingering rain finally tapering off, plenty of dry time is in store midday through the afternoon. Along with some increasing sunshine, high temperatures look to top out in the 70s to around 80 for most.
