MORRISON BLUFF, Ark. — Arkansas State Police (ASP) are now investigating a deadly multi-vehicle accident that happened at the Morrison Bluff Bridge in Logan County.

According to reports, the accident happened along State Highway 109 at about 11:15 p.m. on May 30.

After an investigation by ASP, they found that a 16-year-old from Scranton, Arkansas, was driving southbound at about 150 miles per hour when he rear-ended another vehicle.

The impact of the accident then forced the other vehicle into the northbound lane, where it hit an oncoming 18-wheeler head-on.

The 20-year-old driver of the other vehicle and a 17-year-old female passenger were both killed in the accident.
