PHOENIX — A juvenile was taken into custody Thursday after police officers responded to reports of a stabbing in north Phoenix.

At about 3:30 p.m., officers responded to the area of 51st Street and Roy Rogers Road and found a teen girl who had sustained a laceration. The juvenile was taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said a teenage boy was still at the scene and identified as a suspect. He was arrested and is facing charges related to the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
