Authorities sought the public’s help Thursday in locating an at-risk 66-year-old man diagnosed with an unspecified mental health disorder last seen in Lancaster.

Mark Anthony Maddox was last seen around 8 p.m. Wednesday in the 43000 block of Carefree Court, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Maddox was described as a 5-foot-7 Black man weighing 145 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a purple Lakers hat, a black T-shirt and sweatpants.

Sheriff’s officials stated that Maddox’s family is growing increasingly concerned about his well-being and is seeking the public’s help in finding him.
