Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 5 at 7:43PM MDT until June 5 at 8:00PM MDT by NWS Pueblo CO

At 743 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Eads, or 27 miles north of Lamar, moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of central Kiowa County. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM MDT for southeastern Colorado.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
