SNOW CANYON STATE PARK, Utah (KUTV) — A Flash Flood Warning was issued for Washington County.

Heavy rain from thunderstorms prompted the warning for Snow Canyon State Park, including the Snow Canyon and Johnson Canyon areas.

The National Weather Service said to expect normally dry washes, creeks, streams, and backcountry roads to flood.

The warning was scheduled to be in effect until 9:15 p.m. on Thursday.
