The 2025 West Virginia state high school baseball championships are underway at GoMart Ballpark in Charleston.

Kanawha Metro teams in the tournament include Class AAA No. 4 seed Winfield, which is scheduled to face off in a semifinal at 10 a.m. Friday against top-seeded Ripley. In the Class AAAA bracket, No. 1 Hurricane takes on No. 4 Hedgesville at 5 p.m. Friday. No. 2 George Washington will go against third-seeded Morgantown 50 minutes following the 5 p.m. game.

Hurricane and George Washington are among the four teams competing for the first-ever Class AAAA title, after the West Virginia Secondary School Activities Commission added a fourth class before this season.
