Lost dog reunited with owners after years of separation

RADFORD, Va. (WDBJ) - A dog has reunited with its owners at Radford Animal Shelter after 4 years of separation, according to an employee.

A woman contacted the shelter after thinking that she recognized her dog that’s been lost since 2021, Romeo, online.

When the owners arrived at the shelter, Romeo went from being “down in the dumps” to being a “completely different dog”.

“Today, he was reunited with his favorite people! The happiness that everyone left with was unbelievable!”, a shelter employee said in a social media post.

“We absolutely could not be any happier for this old man!”
