First responders, including Peterborough OPP, are on the scene of a traffic accident on County Road 36.

The accident took place at close to 8:30 Friday morning, between the intersections with County Road 507 and Edwina Drive.

Traffic in both directions has been blocked while emergency crews work, drivers are advised to avoid the area and expect delays.
