CLARKSBURG (WV News) — Members of the local business community heard from a representative of the Cultural Foundation of Harrison County and the founding member of a governmental consulting firm Friday morning during the latest Business@Breakfast event sponsored by the Harrison County Chamber of Commerce.
Maria Cusack, vice chair of the Cultural Foundation, talked about the important interconnection between the arts and economic development. Phil Riley, of Bearing Advisors, discussed how businesses can achieve more by partnering with local governments.
"We're a nonprofit organization and our mission is to infuse more arts and culture into Harrison County, as well as support all of the existing arts and cultural organizations," Cusack said. "We also have grants that we distributed and s
