CHILTON, Texas — The Chilton ISD BBQ team is one of several school districts nationwide competing at the 2025 HSBBQ National Championship in Kansas City on Friday, hoping to be named the top pitmaster crew in the country.

Chilton ISD took to social media to generate buzz and support around their team on Thursday.

"Your support means the world to them. Cheer them on, send your best wishes, and let's show Kansas City the strength of our BBQ community!" Chilton ISD said.
