COPPERAS COVE, Texas — The City of Copperas Cove is excited to celebrate the opening of the new Ogletree Gap Hike & Bike Trail with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, June 7, at 9 a.m.

The event will take place at 1878 Post Office Road.

Hosted by the Copperas Cove Parks & Recreation Department with support from the Chamber of Commerce, the ceremony will recognize the volunteer members of the Ogletree Gap Hike & Bike Work Group.

Their efforts led to the creation of 4.7 miles of trails throughout Ogletree Gap Park.

City officials encourage the public to attend and enjoy the new outdoor amenity.
