UPDATE: 9:13 a.m. - June 6, 2025

A fire that sparked along U.S. Highway 93 south of Arlee on Thursday evening has burned 25 acres and was 10% contained as of Friday morning. No evacuations or closures are in effect. ( full update here ).

Wildfire crews are responding to a fire burning just south of Ravalli along Highway 93.

Lake County Sheriff Don Bell says the fire sparked from a vehicle fire nearby and went up the hill.

The fire was reported to be around 20-plus acres around 8 p.m. on Thursday and there are no fatalities at this time.

The flow of traffic was disrupted, leaving drivers with 10 to 15 minute delays.
