ST. PAUL — Gov. Tim Walz announced on Friday that there will be a one-day special session of the Minnesota Legislature on Monday.

The announcement for the Monday, June 9 special session starting at 10 a.m. comes with a signed agreement that outlines 14 pre-negotiated bills lawmakers will be tasked with passing in one day. The bills include 10 budget bills: Health, Human Services, Commerce, Education, Transportation, Taxes, Environment, Jobs and Labor, Higher Education and Energy.

There are also four non-budget bills in the agreement: a bonding bill, a bill to carry the repeal of MinnesotaCare for undocumented adults, a “data center bill” and a “technical revisors bill.”
