Churchill Animal Protection Society’s annual “Bark in the Park” is Friday and Saturday at the 3C Event Complex, 325 Sheckler Road in Fallon.

The nonprofit, no-kill animal care center has expanded the event to two days of fun for humans and their doggie besties. Leashed dogs are welcome to participate in all events.

A cooler evening 5K fun run/walk starts Friday at 7 p.m. with check-in and registration beginning at 6:15 p.m. There is no entry fee to shop at the vendor booths from 5-9 p.m., including Handmade Treasures by Paula and TBone Chimes and More. Live music from Acid Box begins at 6 p.m.

On Saturday vendor booths are open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Puppy yoga is from 9:30-10:30 a.m. and band Leeteville Junction will take the stage from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
