Progress continues for the water line replacement project in Roosevelt City. The City shared on Thursday that the mainline has been installed on 200 West near the hospital, and pipeline testing will begin over the next few days. “It is anticipated the new water line will be in service within two weeks,” shares the announcement. “On 200 East, the new water line has successfully passed testing and will be tied into the existing water main in the coming days. A planned water shutdown is scheduled for Monday, June 9th, to complete the tie-in at the intersection of 200 East and Roosevelt Circle. Residents and businesses in this area will experience water outages during this time.” All in the area are encouraged to prepare in advance by storing water for essential needs.
