People are being warned not to fall for scams offering an Energy Support Scheme allowance of £200-£300.

Text messages circulating as a DWP Notice are telling benefit claimants they are eligible for assistance and to apply before the impending deadline, which is usually given as the same day or the next day to make it seem very urgent.
