LINCOLN, Neb. — A Grand Island teen is behind bars following a pursuit west of Lincoln overnight.

An 18-year-old male was arrested on a number of charges including flight to avoid arrest, willful reckless driving and obstructing a peace officer.

The Nebraska State Patrol said around 2:30 p.m. Friday, a trooper saw a Toyota Rav4 speeding with no license plates on West O Street in Lincoln. The trooper attempted a traffic stop, but the driver accelerated and fled westbound. The trooper initiated a pursuit.
