NORRISTOWN — A 10-year-old child from Norristown burst into tears as she stood at the podium asking for help during Thursday’s Montgomery County Commissioners meeting.
“I’m here today to ask the commissioners to pass a welcome policy. I’m here because my brothers and sisters didn’t go to school because of how scared they are about ICE being in the community,” she said.
