STONE COUNTY, Ark. (KAIT) - The Stone County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed to K8 News that Grant Hardin has been captured.

No further details have been confirmed at this time.

The FBI, Arkansas Department of Corrections, Arkansas State Police, and U.S. Department of Justice increased the reward to up to $20,000 for information leading to the arrest of escaped inmate Grant Matthew Hardin and an additional $5,000 reward from the U.S. Marshals.

Authorities say he escaped the North Central Unit in Calico Rock on Sunday, May 25.

The Izard County Circuit Court issued an arrest warrant on May 26 for Hardin on a second-degree escape charge.
