RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - So far, two ongoing investigations by Washoe County School District (WCSD) police and a school administrative probe have identified more than 30 people connected to the vandalism, destruction of property and hate speech that happened at Reno High on May 22, according to an email from Superintendent Joe Ernst.
Not all of them are students at this school, Ernst said in the Friday, June 6, email.
The level of involvement includes witnessing the event; trespassing and entering a building; engaging in vandalism; destroying property; and participating in hate speech.
“Due to federal privacy laws, we are not able to share specific numbers or identities of students who have been disciplined,” Ernst said.
