GREAT FALLS The Hill County Health Department in Havre said on Friday, June 6, 2025, that one new case of measles has been confirmed, bringing the total in the county to four.

The new case is a child who was not vaccinated, and is a contact of one of the previously-confirmed cases. There are no known public exposures in this new case.

MEASLES IN MONTANA

According to the Montana Department of Public Health & Human Services, all 18 cases of measles in the state are Montana residents, and newly-identified cases are isolating.

The 18 cases have been reported in four counties in Montana: 10 in Gallatin; four in Hill; two in Flathead; and two in Yellowstone. Two of the cases required hospitalization.
