A casting call has been announced to find the star of a much-anticipated pantomime at Bedworth's Civic Hall. PR Productions is holding open auditions to find a suitable hero for their latest show - Aladdin.

The talented local company made their panto comeback at the Civic Hall last Christmas , entertaining hundreds with their version of Jack and the Beanstalk.

Now preparations are beginning for Aladdin and they are looking for an actor to take on the tile role. Open auditions are being held on Sunday, June 22 and they are looking for an actor, aged between 18 and 35.

"A strong singing voice and excellent stage presence is needed," the production team said. "Previous experience is preferred but not necessary."
